Heute wurde ich von der Firma angeschrieben, die den "Internet Download Manager" verteibt. Diese haben mich auch folgende "Geschäftsschädigende" Situation aufmerksam gemacht:
Der folgende Eintrag ist nicht BÖSE! Er ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des "Internet Download Managers"
>O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: d:\windows\system32\idmmbc.dll
Hier ein Auszug der E-Mail:
"Idmmbc.dll is a layer service provider that catches download clicks, and feeds them to IDM for downloading. That's the usual task being performed by download managers. Idmmbc.dll doesn't have any malicious code, and doesn't execute any Trojan functions. This is extremely reprehensible and false in a way that it effects our reputation in IT community. This dll has nothing to do with Trojans, Spyware, Viruses, and such, and it's an obvious mistake."
Der Eintrag wird nun als gut erkannt. Ich schreibe dies aber trotzdem hier herein, damit andere Benutzer (auch von anderen Foren) informiert werden.
