What about the task schedular error
What about the task schedular error
Are you actually experiencing something negative as a direct result of that, or as I think I have stated in some way, just looking through event logs and expressing concern over a warning? The service is, in part, used for types of web authentication process, but not used for a stand alone setting that I am aware of. May be that some software created that, and then now something is no longer supporting it/using it.
Right click My Computer, left click Manage, then click Device Manager.
When the Device Manager display opens click View - Show hidden devices.
Then in the list below that see if adfs is there. If so, double click that, and change the Device usage in that dropdown to "Do not use this device", then click OK and close the Device Manager. Reboot, and check if things are okay, and that nothing changed due to you disabling that device.

well it didn't give me an error message anymore. I blew into the fan and surprisingly it made start up faster.I guess I should purchase compressed air can now.
Good that no error is occurring now. And yes, it is a good idea to clean the dust out, especially the areas of the cpu heatsink "vanes" and the fan for the cpu. Any other problems we still need to address?
