Yes, the drive D is where we mostly store our files and the drive C is where we install all the programs although some of his files and some of mine, for work, before were also saved there, but they're gone now after the reinstall.

Since, I'm always crashing our pc , I better just buy a new OS, lol. I just don't know how to install it again coz I'm afraid to bungle it and remove something that shouldn't be removed.

If you get a new install CD I can assist with any install steps as well, if needed. Before making any changes go here and download Everest, and use that to create a log of your devices and drivers there. This will be handy if needed during installing the new copy.
